Our Stream Financial team ran the Sea FM Half K Marathon at Cotton Tree in August. We proudly sponsored and helped raise funds for Archers tracheotomy.
Archer was born with a rare condition known as CCHS – Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome. Put simply, if little Archer goes to sleep, he stops breathing. Little Archer needs a tracheotomy to connect to the machine, and has to be linked to it to be able to breathe when he falls asleep. Creating the need for 24 hour care for Archer to ensure he doesn’t knock the tracheotomy out and stop breathing..
Archer’s condition now means his parents, Summer and Tom have been forced to quit their jobs and are now looking at moving their whole lives from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane so they can be a part of an at home ventilation program, which is only funded if they live within a 40 kilometre radius of the Brisbane hospital.
