I love seeing other people succeed, and I thrive on watching true story movies in which the underdog triumphs and the Erin Brockovich’s of the world are exposed.
My career path in financial planning was likely influenced by my enjoyment of the opportunity to be ‘backstage’ at someone’s success story.
I believe genuine joy stems from putting other people before oneself. This was the most important lesson I learned as a child, and it has stayed with me ever since.
Although I might use this space to list my qualities, interests, aspirations, and so on, I think it would be more useful to discuss what they all represent: a perpetual focus on the happiness of others. Whether on a personal or professional level, people are my passion, the core of my aspirations, and what brings me joy.
I am a Sunny Coast girl through and through, growing up as a dairy farmer’s daughter in Yandina. Fast-forward a number of years, and my husband and I have a house full of children, and I’m still calling it home.
Outside of work, you will find me surrounded by my family and nature. I may secretly be found talking to our flocks of chickens, quails, or guinea fowls, or discussing the world’s problems with our goats. Oh, and cooking – how could that have slipped my mind? Cooking is definitely a passion too!
